Doug Shaw founded Business Innovations Group with a goal of creating a company that would be a valuable resource in the areas of executive search, executive and management development, business acquisitions and integration, and business divestitures.
Mr. Shaw has anchored his business on more than 30 years experience in leadership positions of increasing responsibility within the business and general aviation industry as well as several mid-market enterprises.
Over the past ten years, Mr. Shaw has served in a variety of capacities for several platform companies of a major private equity fund. He has also served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary for Atlantic Aviation Corporation, a recognized industry leader in providing a variety of aviation services including Fixed Base Operations (FBO), Aircraft Charter and Aircraft Management. He also served as President of Atlantic Aviation Flight Services Division.
Other business experience includes executive positions with Signature Flight Support, operator of the largest FBO network in the US; Simuflite Training International, a leader in aircraft pilot and systems training; Fairchild Aircraft Corporation, manufacturer of regional airline and business turboprop aircraft; and Gulfstream Aerospace, manufacturer of medium and heavy business-class jet aircraft.
